Queste “Case a Pianta Centrale” sono come dei mandala di architettura, cioè disegni simbolici, capaci di trasmettere lo spirito di un luogo. Il centro emozionale di queste case è spesso un oggetto domestico (un tavolo, un tappeto), con la capacità di di essere il “fondatore della casa”, in altre parole una presenza capace di dare importanza culturale e significativa a tutte le altre funzioni domestiche.
These “House on a Central Plan” are a mandalas of architecture, that is symbolic drawing, intended to convey the spirit of a place. The emotional center of these houses is often a domestic object (a table, a carpet). It has the capacity to be the founder of the house, in other words a presence able to lend meaning and cultural relevance to all the other domestic functions.
